Most of the guests couldn’t make it due to the problems at the airports. There were even a couple of dealers that didn’t make it because of that. But some of the guest did make it, such as Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, Kevin Vanhentenryck, Robert Z’Dar, and Tom Sullivan. Plus the turnout of the people coming to the show was a lot lower than expected. But that didn't stop those who did make it from having a good time. Once again, there were times when I wish that I didn’t have to watch my dealer table, so I can hear and see some of the activities going on. Tom Sullivan was there once again, with this EVIL DEAD museum. You can see some by the pics below at some of the awesome work that this man created for Raimi and company, only to be screwed big time by his so-called “friends”. And people wonder why I hold a grudge against them. Sullivan also gave a running commentary while viewing EVIL DEAD, giving some interesting behind-the-scene information. Tom said he will be back again next year with his museum. As you can see in the pictures below, even after all these years, it's great to see some of the designs and see the hard work this guy put out.
Then there were the film rooms. When’s the last time you were able to watch such classics as DRACULA’S DOG or the really obscure film DEMONS OF LUDLOW (trying finding that title in a reference book) being show from a 16mm film projector? Then they were also showing the classic PHANTASM, as well as the awesomely bad film TRACK OF THE MOONBEAST. It was also nice to see plenty of people in the theater room for every film, even if it's to only watch BIGFOOT. For those who didn't make it, or the first Cinema Wasteland show, you really owe it to yourself to plan on attending next year's show. It just keeps getting better and better.
